The inaugural year of the Northern California Dive and Travel Expo was a resounding success to say the least. The event, which showcased a multitude of dive and travel manufacturers, clothing vendors, hydro-environmental advocacy groups and charity organizations, ran from May 12-13, and provided entertainment and education for approximately 2000 participants. “This was such a unique weekend, I’m just glad I was a part of it.” Selene Muldowney, Expo Coordinator said. “California has welcomed us like family, and we can’t wait for May 4-5, 2013 when we get to do it again – only bigger and better!” The 2013 event will host 50+ free seminars on everything from underwater photography to first aid with DAN. Visitors will be able to meet guest speakers from all over the country as they present talks on honing your diving skills, great new innovations and inspiring divers and non-divers alike.
