Re: Need advice for sons snorkel equipment

The suit will be perfect for late spring through summer temps! As for the personal gear package, there are many ways to go there. Some more spendy than others but the good side is that all of the gear you see on our site is of nice quality. The manufacturers are doing a better job at that than ever before. Some might be a bit more plush, or have added features than others, but you can rest easy knowing that he´s going to enjoy himself with anything you choose. If you need some help, feel free to give our instructors a call at 800-347-2822 and they will be happy to point out the differences in some of the gear.

Need advice for sons snorkel equipment

I need some advice about snorkel equipment. My son is going to Belize to snorkel the reefs as part of a college course. I´d like to get him some decent equipment but not break the bank. I´ve looked around the site and based upon the water temp in March came up with the Pinnacle 3mm Spirit Titanium Shorty for a wet suit. Good choice? Do you have a better choice? What type of mask, snorkel, fins? Would he need a hood, booties? What exactly would he need and am I missing anything? Thanks for the help.

Deep See Travelok Summit Roller Backpack Bag

My wife & I are considering this bag – do you know if the side fin pockets will accomodate wide fins, like scubapro turbo? Any additional information you may have about this bag?
Thanks!
