Wanted Lion Fish…Dead or Alive!
Hunting….Lion Fish Hunting dive in Grand Cayman was a blast! Being a Texan I felt right at home stalking these “Reef Killers” filling our bag and taking them back to cook and eat! Pretty darn good tasting!!!!
First shark dive! Was part of 4-day research expedition with great whites. I was so inspired that I started a shark-diving project for cancer survivors!
we were just looking around enjoying the scenery then our instructor gave the shark signal it took me a while to see it and when i did it was a black tip shark and later we saw about 3 barracudas each about 3-4ft long and one was circling us it was cool!
Took some jungle road to a hole in the ground. Lowered the tanks down on roap. Made sure I could swim without sinking or floating and we did two tanks in Dos Oyos cave. Visited the bat cave a halocline grim reaper green eye. I wasn’t open water cert..
I’ve not finished my open water course yet so don’t have any experiences to talk of. However, I have to say that the best dive is always going to be the *next* dive. Nothing will ever beat the excitement and anticipation of the next time I get my gear on.
After drifting above hundreds of very large turtles, my group came upon a solid silvery wall. As we got closer we realized it was a wall of large Tarpon. In awe, the wall split apart and left us pass through, only to slowly close like a curtain behind us.
