As well arrived at the worlds deepest indoor training facility a sense of atticipation made our adreniline rush. The water was 33 degrees celcus, 33 m deep, clear as could be & the staff was AWESOME. I wish I could train in a place like this year round!
I was totaly caught up in looking at a large and very close barracuda and did not notice the 12’ BULL SHARK Comming up the wall and starting accross the reef toward me, By the time I saw it I could have been it’s lunch! It was no more that 6 ft from me!
A rough 4hr. ride from Caye Caulker. We arrived at the Cousteau made famous site to start my carribbean adventure. An amazing spectacle of ocean wonders. Towering Stalacties, Reef Sharks, and Eagle Rays surround. Not bad for my 1st open water dive! Sweet!
it was an amazing site sharks ,turtles, over 300 species of fish all in 1 tank 36 windows where our familys can see us while we dive but the hard part was i had a cast on and was 11 years of age
My partner (Slug) and I (Bubbles) hit the water (poor visibility) with a take no prisoners attitude. As I started to decend into the murky depths I found that I was next to a wall of Rock Scollops. 4 minutes later we surfaced with over 50 lbs of sea food.
It was first dive of a sesson, wather was cold, and as soon as we entered the wather i needed to “go”.
Darm, there was no fish to see, no thing to do.. just pressuer of cold wather making me “go”.
After we surficed ofcoure i didnt need to go anymore…
WOW! Exhilarating! Extraordinary! The only words that came to mind to describe the realization of a life-long dream to scuba as I hovered a few feet above the Vandenberg on my first (certified) open water dive!
Went on the hunt for whale sharks in the Red Sea! Didn’t spot any, but it sure was fun to look. Warm water, perfect visability, LOTS of colorful fish, and 2 very handsome divers joining me. All in all, a wonderful dive!
I never dove past 45ft & husband ensured me I could. Last minute decision by Divemaster. most memorable dive. The wreck is surrounded by garden eel so lay on belly and low crawl towards them. 80degree water temp. 50+ visability! Cant wait to do it again.
