TUSA is one of the world’s first scuba equipment manufacturers, founded in Tokyo, Japan in 1952 and has for over 55 years, been pioneering great scuba gear and churning out quality products ever since. The M-14 Visualator mask is one such quality product.

One of the biggest drawbacks of several dual lens construction scuba masks is the loss in field of view owing to thicker frames, giving the diver a limited field of vision. The M-14 Visualator mask features an over-sized single lens and frame offering a significant increase in vision over previous products. Additionally, the distance between the lens and the eyes has been reduced. To increase the field of vision in a mask, the lens must be brought closer to the eyes. To achieve this, the M-14’s frame was made as thin as possible, and the fitting line was moved slightly to the outside. By moving the fitting line up to the middle of the forehead, the distance between the lens and the eyes is further reduced and a wider field of vision (both above and below as well as left and right) is achieved. Like all TUSA masks, it incorporates a wide range of features to enhance comfort and provide clarity of vision.

Key Features of the M-14 include:

  • 2.5 times increase in field of vision
  • Larger frame with reduced internal volume
  • Five-position strap angle adjustor for micro-adjustment
  • Wide availability of Colors: Aquamarine, Black, Cobalt Blue, Flash Yellow, Translucent
  • Also available in black silicone (M-14QB): Black/Red

The 5 Angle Strap Adjustor allows for a five position micro-adjustment on both the left and right sides of the mask. This enables vertical (up/down) and horizontal (left/right) pressure on the face to be delicately adjusted for the optimum fit.

The M-14 Visulator is an ideal mask for divers with larger heads or face structures that often have difficulties with smaller masks. As a photographer, the Visualator helps you enjoy the wide unrestricted view and spot your subject clearly through its Low fogging lens. Owing to its larger size, the Visulator may have issues for divers with a smaller face or those that use hoods as it’s silicone skirting covers much of the forehead.
