I bought two of these for our grandsons, age 10 and 11, who are newly certified divers, as added warmth over their dive suits for Cozumel. They are both tall and thin(about 411″, 70lbs). The size small (10) fit them both perfectly and still gives room to grow in the body, both length and width. They are constructed like our adult suits, so will wear well and provide protection and warmth, and can be worn alone playing in the ocean.

We bought this wetsuit for our son to keep him warmer during winter swim lessons. Not only did he stay happier in the pool, the added buoyancy helped him transition to swimming without added flotation. When summer arrives, were looking forward to the beach, where the water will still be pretty cold, so this suit should be a big plus. I think a few other parents will be shopping for a shorty suit for their kids after seeing this one.
