Rating: Rusted on first dive
i was surprised to see rust on the shears after my first ocean dive, but considering the cost and infrequent use, they are a good value so far. however, i would expect that stainless steel would be more corrosion resistant theres plenty ive seen that hasnt rusted and has been exposed for a long time. probably should use a better quality higher-chromium-content stainless steel. was advised to coat them with silicone grease to prevent rust will do so since hopefully, i wont have too much occasion to use them. i like the dive flag logo on the sheaf dont mind the “scuba.com” logo (it pays to advertise!). |
