Rating:Henderson Lycra Suit Lycra skin when a wetsuit is to much

Just Love the Lycra wet skin you can where it in a warm tropic dive, snorkeling or in a cool pool just getting ready for your next dive trip. Its very light weight, easy to get off and on, and dries quickly. Gonna buy another one before our trip to Bonaire and Curacao

Scuba Gear Customer Review: Henderson Lycra Suit – $47.99

Rating:Henderson Lycra Suit Excellent Suit for Sun Coverage

I bought the Henderson Lycra suit to wear while snorkeling and swimming in Vieques to protect myself from the sun. The suit did an excellent job in sun protection. I highly recommend it for this purpose. As long as the suit is at least slightly damp it does not feel hot to wear on a tropical beach. I found the sizing to be a bit on the small side. I ended up wearing a large and I am 57″ and 140 lbs.

Rating:Henderson Lycra Suit Henderson Lycra Suit

I had purchased one in Cozumel and I bought an extra small and thought this was a little tight, although it did help with insulating from cooler waters. Wanted a backup one so purchased a small on advise from another reviewer that they seem to run small. This one was a little loose although it was exactly what I wanted.

Scuba Gear Customer Review: Henderson Lycra Suit – $47.99

Rating:Henderson Lycra Suit Excellent UV shield

My primary purpose for purchasing the suit was the UV protection. After already having one carcinoma removed and hoping to avoid further skin cancer, I knew Id need full body protection while spending 2 days snorkeling off the cayes in Belize. The Henderson suit fit well, I got no sun damage at all, and the convenient loop in the sleeve was a handy bonus for attaching my underwater Olympus camera, which stashed neatly in the lycra sleeve for getting in and out of the boat, too. And once the wind picked up in the afternoon, I was warm and comfortable for the boat ride back while everyone else shivered!
