Stating the obvious of what keeps me deeply absorbed in thought- are three things:
One Tree Hill, politics & scuba diving.
Yes people, not all teens and young adults obsess about a fad trite. Apparently, there are issues of great importance that i¥m incapable to resist, and therefore compelled to utter my statements of dissatisfaction or commendation.
Having reiterated that, what channels my conserns to the disappointments of reality, are fictional characters of certain tv shows that have sparked my interest. In layman terms, its my escape from the odd smells and discomforts of life.
If you also prefer the same things as i do-
90¥s alternative rock songs,
trance and a bit of techno,
MSNBC instead of fixed noise,
Olbermann rather than Billo¥ the clown
(on scuba diving) “taking merely pictures, leaving nothing but bubbles and killing only time”- then c¥est magnifique. if not, no need to be hysterical and hostile about it.
However, it surprises me greatly how brutally frank people can be when they¥re hiding behind an anonymous account name. To think tabloids get so much heat.
Lastly, i¥d like to share this quote: “arguing on the internet is like competing in the special olympics, even if you win your still retarded.”
For folks who are full of disquietude, don¥t get agitated. Our opinions may differ but stereotyping is not the most effective way to respond. Also, malicious verbal assaults on invented television characters is amusing. So loosen up, don¥t procrastinate & support causes that will: inspire, inform, educate and entertain you. Being a catalyst for change excuses no one!
